Systems Integration
The objective of ServanTek's System Integration services is to assist organizations in utilizing Information Technology as a foundational system to multiply their current outreach.
Services may include, but are not limited to:
Network Design, cabling and configuration.
Computer System installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Server installation, configuration, and maintenance.
Software installation, configuration, and maintenance (Anti-virus, Anti-Spyware, Office Suite, etc).
Backup System setup and Off-site Data Backup/ Recovery service.
Online Communities
Online communities will spur growth among non-profit, educational and religious organizations who can strategize and interact on a global scale with organizations who share common interests and goals.
ServanTek is currently involved in researching and implementing Social Networking and Participatory Networks in which people collaborate and interact in online communities. This model can be carried over into many non-profit operations in which collaboration and the sharing of experiences can greatly improve an organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
IT Audit
Objectives
The goal of the IT audit is to: 1) assess and evaluate the state of IT infrastructure, 2) examine IT staff, and 3) produce a report with suggestions about possible ways of improving and developing the current IT infrastructure.
Method
A qualitative method of research is applied during the IT audit. The auditor visits the physical location of the organization and collects data. Also, data is collected through an online assessment.
Distance Education
The objective of ServanTek's Distance Education services is to enable our University and Seminary partners with educational technologies by using a student-centric multi-project approach based on faculty needs and according to the strategic development goals of our clients.
We have developed solutions for clients using Moodle, a course management system (CMS) designed using sound pedagogical principles, to help educators create effective online learning communities (moodle.org ). Moodle allows us to greatly reduce the costs for our clients, as the software is a free, Open Source software package.
Digital Libraries
In many countries, reference and training materials are hard to find. Providing these materials in easily accessible, digital format will open the door to new learning and growth opportunities for numerous outreach efforts and educational entities which currently lack such resources. ServanTek is currently working to develop digital libraries in order to provide easy, world-wide access to education.
Computer Redeployment
ServanTek seeks donations of quality, used computer equipment from business partners. This equipment is then refurbished and redeployed for use by non-profit, educational and religious organizations.
This equips many organizations with tools which they normally could not afford. Through this service, ServanTek helps these organizations to serve their constituencies more effectively.
